Earn You can earn SWAPPY, and other tokens, using our Single Staking Pools and via our Liquidity Provider Yield Farms. Which one you choose is up to your strategy and risk appetite:

• POOLS: In order to stake your SWAPPY you don't need anything else other than... obviously... SWAPPY. Staking is considered low-risk but rewards are lower.

• FARMS: In order to farm you need to provide liquidity to one of the liquidity pools on the farming page and then stake your LP tokens to earn rewards. You expose yourself to impermanent loss, but the rewards are higher as compensation.

All liquidity providers earn rewards from trading fees. Whenever someone trades on MTVSwap, they pay a 0.20% fee, 75% of which (0.15% in total) is added back to the liquidity pool of the swap pair they traded on.

For example, if there are 100 MTV-LP s (representing 100 SWAPPY and 100 MTV tokens) then 1 MTV-LP token = 1 SWAPPY + 1 MTV. If someone trades 10 SWAPPY for 10 MTV, then 0.015 is added to the pool. If someone else trades 10 MTV for 10 SWAPPY, then a further 0.015 is added to the pool. Therefore the SWAPPY/MTV liquidity pool now has 100.03 SWAPPY and 100.03 MTV.

i.e. each MTV-LP token is now worth 1.003 SWAPPY+ 1.003 MTV.

To make being a liquidity provider even more worthwhile, you can also put MTV-LP tokens to work into one of the SWAPPY farms, while still earning the 0.15% trading fee reward.

Yield Farms incentivize users to provide liquidity for trading pairs by distributing SWAPPY to a project's LP token holders.

Staking Pools and Yield Farms

Staking Pools are a way of distributing partners’ tokens to MTVSwap users who stake SWAPPY in a pool.

Yield Farms incentivize users to provide liquidity for trading pairs by distributing SWAPPY to a project’s LP token holders.

These two products go hand-in-hand on MTVSwap: when a project provides their tokens for a Staking Pool, the creation of a Yield Farm will also be considered. If a project is looking to distribute tokens and incentivize liquidity, they should get in touch with the team.
